Celeste Mountjoy
Celeste Mountjoy (AKA Filthyratbag) is a visual artist and writer at the helm of a practice as caustic as it is sensitive. Working primarily (though not exclusively) with fine liners and textas, Mountjoy fuses a barebones approach to line work with shards of text which range from the autobiographical to the culturally critical.

By choosing coming-of-age cliché’s and what it is to be human, Mountjoy’s work resonates in ways that make you laugh and feel uncomfortable at the same time. Since 2015, Mountjoy has amassed over 600,000 followers on social media, held two solo exhibitions, and had her work featured in The New York Times, Forbes Magazine, The Saturday Paper, BBC and ABC.
