Kaff-eine paints public artwork globally while pursuing realist portraiture in her Melbourne studio. Combining creativity with a strong moral conscience, her creative projects invite audiences to engage with social and political issues.

She is interested in further developing her public murals as a storytelling medium, experimenting with more unconventional materials. This has led to innovative and socially significant projects including Victoria’s Silo Art Trail, a pyrotechnic sculpture for Mexico’s international fireworks festival, and Australia’s first public sistergirl (transgender Tiwi Islander) mural in Darwin.

While Kaff-eine enjoys painting solo, she takes special interest in collaborative artworks. Notable collaborative projects include: Infinite Thanks, a travelling participatory exhibition about gratitude that honours rainbow dieties and shares LGBTQI+ stories of thankfulness; Southern Wild, a portrait exhibition where nude and non-professional models directed their own sittings; and many murals painted in collaboration with communities throughout Australia and abroad.

As the spearhead of her international creative collective, Cheeseagle, Kaff-eine has also produced four exhibitions and two documentaries, including the award-winning feature film Happy Land.
