During the late ‘80s, he helped bring 3D lettering styles to the world, firmly establishing Australia’s graffiti reputation and influencing a generation.

Inspired by everyday surroundings, Merda adapts his approach by using different mediums and ways of making to create unique works that incorporate clean lines and subtle minimalist colour.

Featured in multiple international street art publications, Merda has work in collections including the National Gallery of Australia, and has held numerous solo and group exhibitions at the Ballarat Fine Art Gallery and the National Gallery of Victoria, among others.
