The Dacios
Known for their entertainingly energetic and hypnotic performances, The Dacios first erupted on local stages in 2005. Since then they’ve revved up rooms for Cable Ties, The Drones, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Future of The Left, Legends of Motorsport, NinetyNine, Roland S Howard, The Stabs, and Witch Hats, just to name a few.

They have also played at Meredith Music Festival, Boogie Festival, New Years Evie, the EG Awards, Cherry Rock, and Springtones Festival. The Dacios helped 3RRR celebrate its 30th birthday bash, in their typically debauched style, and have appeared in two music documentaries: Sticky Carpet (2006) and Percussion Blues: The Battle for The Tote (2010).
Their debut album, Monkey’s Blood, was released in 2009 to both critical and popular acclaim. Their second release in 2016, Beyond the Bottom Hour (Homeless Records), was similarly applauded by audiences and critics. The Dacios recorded their third album, To The End, at Phaedra Studios in April 2021. The album is due for release in October on Heavy Machinery Records. Separated for months over lockdown, Bean and LJ constructed the songs for the album remotely, and have since had the great pleasure of bringing them to fruition with the whole band.
