The Merindas formed in 2012, singing Motown hits for the premiere of The Sapphires movie. What was supposed to be a one-off show became a full-time career, having performed more than 400 shows in the last eight years. The duo have several singles under their belts including We Sing Until Sunrise, Before Daylight, I Feel It, and their latest release Déjà vu.

The Merindas describe how their hotly anticipated debut album — We Sing Until Sunrise / Ngangk Ngoorndiny Ngala Warangka — “strongly reflects that we are forever singing, forever dancing and forever celebrating our culture”. This is the essence of The Merindas and the ethos they bring to each of their performances.
