crowEST’s practice as a visual artist crosses the discipline boundaries of contemporary art, design, and craft to encompass word events and performances. Her recent output occupies a conceptual space between painting, working apparel, diagrammatic scores, and concrete poetry of a political nature.
Humour is used to address darkly tinged emotional states that bubble through from the inside to manifest externally through diagrams and text works.
